Comet è il nuovo singolo estratto dal terzo album dei Celeb Car Crash, The World Is Busy, Try Again Later, pubblicato il 23 luglio 2021. La band descrive il brano come “una visione, una cometa, un’epifania”. Un segno del cielo che ci indichi la strada giusta, stando attenti a non mal interpretarlo. Una scintilla in un mondo spietato, dove ognuno ricorre al suo istinto di sopravvivenza ed è pronto a calpestare gli altri.
Il rock e la qualità a cui ci hanno abituato questi ragazzi si riconferma in questo singolo. Suoni puliti, chitarre potenti e melodie accattivanti che non hanno bisogno di troppi artifici: basta il loro rock a portarli in alto.
Comet è uno dei singoli estratti dal terzo album in studio della band: “The World Is Busy, Try Again Later”. Un album che è la conclusione di un lavoro lungo più di un anno. Il master è affidato a Giovanni Versari, che ha lavorato all’album “Drones” dei Muse.
I Celeb Car Crash sono una rock band. Si formano nel 2012 a Parma, e il gruppo è attualmente composto da Nicola, Gabriele, Alex e Michelangelo. Hanno all’attivo tre album: AMBUSH!, pubblicato nel 2013, People Are The Best Show del 2015 ed infine The World Is Busy, Try Again Later, uscito il 23 luglio 2021.
Nel corso della loro carriera pubblicano due EP: uno di cover in chiave rock “CCCover” e nel 2015 l’EP “Mucha Lucha”. Ogni passo del loro tragitto discografico li porta a conquistare spazio e riconoscenze. Con il primo album aprono i concerti dei “Gotthard” e “Coheed and Cambria”. Successivamente, vincendo il con-corso “RED BULL Tourbus chiavi in mano 2014” sono in tour con Lacuna Coil e registrano il nuovo singolo “Because I’m Sad” nei Red Bull Studios di Londra. Il singolo viene trasmesso da Virgin Radio Italia, Francia e Canada, Virgin Tv, Rock Tv, Grunge Tv.
La loro massiccia attività live li porta ad esibirsi anche all’O2 Academy di Islington ed al Nambucca, oltre che al The Cave di Amsterdam. Nel 2018 fanno l’ingresso nella band Alex Crini e Simone Galli. Nel 2019 iniziano a lavorare all’ultimo album: il progetto prevede l’uscita di un singolo ogni tre settimane. “The World Is Busy, Try Again Later” vedrà la luce solo nel 2021 con la collaborazione di Steve Albini (“In Utero”, Nirvana) in “Disconnected (This is Gonna Hurt)” ed il mastering di Giovanni Versari (“Drones”, Muse).
