Ace Hotel è il nuovo singolo e video di NIIA estratto dall’ultimo EP della cantautrice If I Should Die

E’ uscito l’8 agosto 2021 il nuovo singolo Ace Hotel estratto dall’EP di Niia intitolato If I Should Die. La cantautrice si è occupata direttamente della produzione di ogni traccia contenuta nel disco col quale ha finalmente trovato la sua indipendenza creativa.

In Ace Hotel, mentre piatti e chitarra sussurrano in sottofondo, la cantautrice italo-americana riporta alla mente i dettagli di un suo appuntamento svoltosi proprio all’omonimo hotel di Los Angeles – dal cibo Thai al vino rosé – in una sorta di catarsi vocale.

Il video di questo brano è stato girato proprio all’interno del celebre luogo di interesse situato a Downtown L.A.

Da grande appassionata di cinema, Niia ha voluto realizzare 6 video – uno per ciascuna canzone dell’EP – ognuno dei quali evocasse il tema del brano esagerando l’emozione che sta dietro alla musica.

Non appare solo sullo schermo ma anche dietro la cinepresa, reggendo le fila e giocando a fare dio con le emozioni di chiunque sia abbastanza curioso da ascoltare, guardare e sentire.

Completamente collegata, ma allo stesso tempo lontana da questo mondo, Niia appare piuttosto come segregata nel proprio regno di dubbi, ansie, bramosia, karma e percezione di sé.
