THE ROOM: la band astigiana pubblica Wake myself up il video del singolo title track del nuovo EP…

Quattro amici, una metropoli e una videocamera. Questa è stata la base di partenza per il primo videoclip della band astigiana The Room. Niente sceneggiature, niente scenografie, niente fronzoli. Diretti, come diretto è il sound di Wake Myself Up.

I The Room sono una nuova realtà musicale dell’astigiano, nata a metà 2016 dall’idea di Andrea Cottone e Simone Leone, è un progetto che cerca ispirazione dal vasto panorama delle sonorità elettroniche, per creare un perfetto mix di elettronica e funky, un amalgama sonoro dalle melodie graffianti e dalle ritmiche di basso corpose.

A Milano, le riprese di Wake Myself Up si sono susseguite di getto, proprio per trasmettere il più possibile la spensieratezza, la freschezza ed il legame che unisce i componenti della band. Aggiungete al tutto la frenesia ed il melting pot che offre il capoluogo lombardo ed ecco che le immagini scivolano veloci sul groove da dancefloor del brano.

Il brano scelto, Wake Myself Up, che dà il titolo all’EP della band, presenta un testo introspettivo, di rivalsa, che sottolinea come la possibilità di riemergere dal fondo possa anche passare attraverso il supporto dell’unica persona capace di farci mancare il fiato (“I find a little sweet dream, that make me breathless now…”).

In conclusione, la scenografia “urban” di Wake Myself Up con un’occhio di riguardo per l’arte dei writers, supporta con efficacia le sonorità metropolitane che i The Room propongono in questo loro lavoro d’esordio.
